I recently made a booking from Ernakulam Junction (South)/ERS to Panvel (PNVL) and decided to travel 1st class (12431/RAJDHANI EXP ). I booked my ticket online and printed it out only to find that there were no seat assignments. The berth number was '0000' for both my wife and I. The ticket does say "CONFIRMED".
Does anyone know what this means? Are the seats assigned before boarding the train on the reservation chart? I would love to get a coupe but I am not what the procedure is.

In First class the cabins will be allotted only at the time of chart preparation-only the ticket will say confirmed at time of booking indicating that you have a confirmed ticket in hand
