We are planning to book 20 tickets (Including 7 senior citizen tkts) to Kottayam from Vijayawada on 10th Jan'12 for Makara Jyothi Darsan.
01. Is there any special trains announced?
02. If we prefer Break Journey, which is the best route?
Pl. suggest.

Sir, please do not opt any break journey while you are travelling to Sabarimala. You have to carry IRUMUDI and luggages all the way. Also, take bath & carry out prayers very early morning before anything to drink. Please wait for Special trains to be announced as Kerala & Sabari exp are already in regret WL by 2nd week of jan '12. Last year Railway has announced so many specials like Vskp-Kollam, Kakkinada -Kollam, Nizamabad -Kollam. Also this year so many facilities are arranged at kottayam station for AYYAPPA devotees.
As i am staying nearby Sabarimala it is a tough journey to reach AYYAPPA in Samkrathi days but the almighty will be with you always....Sawamiye Saranam Ayyappaaaaaaa
