will new stabiling lines be able to accomodate LHB rakes for PM?
How much land is available for SWR at binny Mills area i mean by tracks ? Can it accomodate 2-3 Stabling lines ? & Length ?? Can 24 coach Rake be Accomodated ?
You can see in the main post, lot of land available. Not sure if they have been given to IR; and if just a portion is being used for this work as per funds available.
Work is still on, so must surely be for longer rakes. Things will be clear in a few months.
But what is clear is a lot more is planned I guess, because 2 bridges are being built for just shunting them from SBC to this yard - must be expecting a lot of activity on this side.
