Crossing at Gopalpur Balikuda - 2842 Coromandel Footplate (Jan. 2000) : Our train was running over 2 hours behind schedule due to loco failure near Visakhapatnam the previous night. Hence, we had to give way to all trains in single line sections. At Gopalpur Balikuda, we were made to halt in order for a passenger train to cross us. I enjoyed seeing the train emerge from the Kathajodi river bridge and cross us on the adjacent track.
