Quiz Question: Many of us know that the first Rajdhani Express was started in 1969 between Howrah and New DElhi and the second was the Bombay Rajdhani which started in 1972.
Now we have a number of Rajdhanis. The Question is which was India's third Rajdhani and when did it start?

The third Rajdhani was also a HWH-NDLS Rajdhani (one went via Gaya, other via Patna). The fourth Rajdhani was August Kranti Rajdhani, which started sometime around 1991-1992 (based on my memory).
Now, if the question were which was the third city to get a Rajdhani, probably Bangalore.

The question was which was India's third Rajdhani and when did it start. I also gave the hint it was started during the Tenure of an RM to his constituency. I was wrong in the sense Bangalore was the third City which had the Rajdhani as correctly pointed out by Maneesh. Here is a link of IRFCA which has a photo of the Bangalore Rajdhani on the SCR's 1995 timetable: goo.gl/V0ru1 . So it did start during Mr Jaffer's tenure. Also by then the Hyderabad- Bangalore BG was completed.
So thanks for all the responses. I learnt something new..

KCG-SBC conversion happened somewhere in 1999 which reduced the travelling time of 7085/86(Present 12785/86) from 16 hrs to 13 hrs

So was there an alternative route for the Rajdhani to Bangalore in 1994-1995 (see timetable cover above)?
