Train No. 12658 (SBC-MAS) Chennai Mail schedule to leave EX-SBC at 22.40 hrs on 30/11/17 has been rescheduled to 05.00 hrs on 1/12/2017 due to the late running of pairing train (taken from NTES)
..
Seems spare rake gone :(
One of my relatives was to travel tonight, I recommended to take DD, seems it's a good decision after all!

Yes. Vasco Patna Express. 13 coaches derailed & suffered damage. So there was need of one Immediat Replacement Rake to keep running it & all its RSA's smoothly. So they have taken back this scratch rake.

Hopefully, SWR manages to get some more coaches and forms another spare rake.. Atleast transparency is being maintained about the spare rake..

Vasco Patna Express reqd only 11 Sleeper + 2 3A +1 2A, rest of the coaches must be in SBC only.. If SWR can manage to get 11 SL + 2-3A +1-2A coaches, then 12658 will run punctually without doubt..
Hoping for the best..

Actually I think, some coaches were procured from UBL Div itself, So doesn't suppose SBC have kept coaches, they must have sent Full rake..SBC/YPR being a big depot, should have a Spare coaches to form atleast one rake anytime... Don't know how they fall short, what did they do with 2 ICF rakes of Kannur Exp (16527/28) ? Where are those ??

I think it ran as 06579 Special I guess.. Now that it's not running, probably they can create the spare rake with that..
