Legendary 12381 Howrah - New Delhi Poorva (Deluxe) Express via Gaya absolutely thunders past on a cold, misty morning behind Howrah's white stallion, WAP-7 # 30327 with amazing LHB tracksounds :)

Is HWH WAP-7 a regular link for this train now? Should be so considering such high average speed in N.C.R. and 130 kmph certification in CNB to NDLS section.

WAP-7 is common with this train if I am not wrong
WAP-4 can also do 130
All that is left is 130 clearance in HWH MGS sector :)

True that. But WAP-7 would be comfortable on the L.P.s I think. A lot of HWH WAP-4s are certified for 130-140 kmph use, but they only work on trains which ahve less halts. Not for Poorva which has so many halts between DHN and MGS. Still, it does extremely well.
130 kmph clearance should be given in HWH to ASN Quadruple section atleast.

And WAP-7 is common with this train recently. Few months back also it was getting HWH WAP-4s only, sometimes GZB WAP-5, but never spotted it with WAP-7.
