Earlier they allowed smoking in long distance journey. Now its completely banned? its very difficult to travel for 2-3 days without it..

Smoking in Railway premises, and in Trains is banned.
Section 167 of Railway Act 1989 empower the Railway administration to ban smoking in any Train or part of Train, sub section 3 provides the whosoever contravenes these provisions shall be punishable with fine of Rs.200/-.
