absolute trash train. takes a longer route for unknown reasons. why cant it go to bhubaneshwar through mum-hwh line till sambalpur and then take the line towards cuttack. will save at least 10 hours journey time as its a complete double electrified route. not like the present one. unelectrified is still ok, but still single line

but those are not daily trains....konark is a daily train...so it can be taken any day

i) There is now one more bi-weekly train for Vishakhapattnam from Mumbai LTT.
ii) Secondly, sooner is going to be introduced Duronto between Mumbai-Secunderabad (as announced in the budget 2010-2011).
iii) Also a Shatabdi spl introduced between Pune-Secunderabad.

No point in discussing this as no Railway official reads these blogs for adding/removing stops, extending/diverting trains etc etc. These are all our virtual requests directed at no one.
mr kappadia, is it possible to extend Bhuvaneshwar Rajadhani to Kakinada? If this is possible, only then running Konark 3 days via Nagpur is possible.
And then after extending to Kakinada, divert the train via nagpur, Warangal :-)
