Apologies for delayed uploads. I travelled back to MAS by 12028 Namma Shatabdi on December 9,2017. Surprisingly very few coaches had insurance ads.
Pics1to5:The link for my Shatabdi was 30410(typical P4 type honker. Horns were heard clearly in my coach.). My P7 was escorted by another P7 30364. Both of them arrived grandly onto the PF,coupled with the rake with a thud. Then, 30364 honked like a steam engine and left the PF. Later it got coupled with the MKM passenger on the adjacent PF.
Pic6:All set for departure.

Pics9to11:More pics of P7.
Pic12:TB of C2.(My coach was C3).

Additional spottings:
1.MYS bound Kaveri departed at 5:40 PM from SBC. Dont know why it was delayed.
2.SBC Mail from MAS arrived at 5:40 PM.
3.DD with HOG WAP7 and the best part was that it got its DD EOG back.
4.Spotted,SR's first 3 phase EMU rake at Avadi EMU car shed.
5.Finally, we arrived at PF.No.6 at MAS. We were following SBC MAS Mail(rescheduled from SBC) throughout. It had arrived about 35 mins before the Shatabdi on PF.No.9. The link was RPM WAP7 30416.

Wonderful pics. P7 doing shunting is new. However last year, came across posts where P5 was doing shunting at BPL and G9 at MAS. Again how is the occupancy? Shatabdi should had been kept ahead of mail but I suppose it was running RT so no OT was done. Also what was the power of Kaveri?

P7 shunting is a regular affair here. :) It even shunts trains at MAS though not as often as a G7/9 does. Shatabdi gets shunted by KJM WDS6 at SBC. However, the loco for various trains at SBC gets shunted by another loco. The escort loco would be brought along with the chosen link. The link would be coupled whereas the escort loco would decouple from the link of the train and moves back to the pitline/sidings/ETS/its own train(as in aforementioned 30364's case ). The coupling staff would return in that loco. This kind of arrangement eliminates the need to bring two separate locos at separate times from the ETS. Both MKM passenger's and Shatabdi's link were brought together from ETS.

Shatabdi's occupancy was good as it was weekend time. Good number of passengers travelled that day.

There was no need to keep Shatabdi ahead of Mail as Mail left at 5 AM whereas Shatabdi started 5 mins late at 6:05 AM. Only the gap reduced by 35 mins. Shatabdi's run was not affected by Mail. Mail gets the best priority just like Shatabdi especially when it gets rescheduled.

Couldnt check Kaveri's power because just as I entered the station, I saw Kaveri moving towards MYS.
