Does anyone know the schedule for completion of doubling and electrification between Pune and Guntakal? I understand both won't happen together, but just wanted to understand by when these 2 are expected to be complete. Also, when either of them is complete, how much speed up could be expected for Udyan and other south-bound trains from Mumbai? Thanks.
Also, since Wadi - Bangalore is now electrified, they could probably run this stretch on WAP electric locos (like Chennai bound trains from Mumbai)
For the complete stretch (Mumbai-Bangalore) to be FEDL you have to wait at least 2-3 years.
Even if they just double the line asap, it would be great. CR is so lax as compared to SCR and other zones. Even their rake maintenance is pretty bad.
