So each rake will get maintenance on alternate days then. Hope the proposal goes through. The freed-up ICE rake can be used for a new train! A tri-weekly daytime ICE to BAY/RC will be relatively easy to implement.

Maga, when will SCR start handling Bidar exp PM maintenence at Khanapur ?? Or will Khanapur be used as dumpyard for SC/HYB trains ???

That was the original agreement between SCR and SWR, but there seem to be some problems now with demands for extension to Latur. That will have to be sorted out before any progress is made.
BIDR becoming a dumping yard is unlikely. MTM-SC was extended only because it was being shunted till VKB everyday for parking, and has a rather early arrival and late departure at SC. Only 2 other possibilities are MAS-HYB, Janmabhoomi (again, just a possibility) which will not require any maintenance (and Janmabhoomi 'may' replace SC-BIDR express if extended at all).

As Anirudh bro said , the initial agreement was transfer of Bidar exp to Khanapur but the extension to latur played spoilsport. Chennai Hyderabad exp to Gulbarga or Bidar is a good proposal as Gulbarga does not have a express or superfast to Gulbarga side in morning and similarly Gulbarga also does not have SF to Hyderabad in noon.

One more better suggestion is a new daily train from Bidar to Krishnarajapuram via Gulbarga new line. It will be very helpful . Ernakulam exp is terminated at Banaswadi , so morning 4:30 to 5 slot available at SBC
even that rake can be used to run SBC HAS EXP Which has morning departure from SBC. Rajdhani can be diverted via BNC so that PF can be interchanged for ease of operations
