Though the exact date of inauguration is not known , it is expected that it may be introduced in this January. Days of service are not known Presently.

There is a large number of tourists year round and there is always a demand for ac chair car seats.Atleast in the first few months people will ride the shatabdi as a first time experience as this is the first time there is a shatabdi in kerala.
