Well I agree your points and stats. But the number of buses too less than actual demand. And from your own statement you agree Kerala is not operating more buses due to various reasons.
Basically, Kerala people don't support buses - whether IntER-state or IntRA-state. Then, how come other states will run buses. Karnataka & AP/TS states don't have any problem with TN buses, because those state people board buses. But Kerala people are too adamant to board only trains even for a very short distance.

Is there any update on this Mysuru Kochuveli SF exp? No news any where, when it will be launched ?
Its not an adamant, Compairing to other states KL has a good rail way network, expect Wayanad and iduki all the districts are covered under Railway network, and for a long journey Train is very comfort as we all agree.
It seems Bangalore-Vishakapatinam special train is using Mysore-Kochuveli time slot (may be rake too), hence expected to run by March.

Anyone know the fate of Baiyappnahalli Terminal proposal? - if this happens may be SWR may allow more services - but due to some reason they are nowadays SWR interested to run only North-Bound trains. But we cannot simply blame, North because since All the state people work in Bangalore and each want one new train from their state.
