Official date of electrification of this section is 11 december 2013. Nandgaon MIDC is located in eastern part of Amravati city. Now this 5 star Amravati industrial area are connected with Railway line as well as Amravati - Nagpur Expressway (National Highway No 6). Terminating station of this branch line is Ratan Tata Thermal power Plant, located in east Amravati.
In this freight terminating yard total 12 Goods train can be park at a time. In this 23km section one passing station is located at 12km from Walgaon station. Vitthalapur station has 2 loop line and 1 mainline for crossing and overtakes of freight.
Two Byepass chord line is present for avoiding reversal at Walgaon station. Freight coming from Badnera side can directly take this route without touching Walgaon station. Similarly freight coming from Narkher side can also take this route from another byepass line without touching Walgaon station.
