FOOD: Yo, this train is like the king of food, man! They got all sorts of dishes, from sheera-upma to chicken lollipops, and they're all fresh and tasty. The prices might be a bit high, but it's worth it for the quality, bro. Must-try dishes are the onion uttappa, methi kabab, and for all you non-veg lovers, the chicken biryani and lollipop are bomb. They even serve fresh fruits, dude. BEST TIME TO TRAVEL: If you want some sick monsoon scenery, travel from June to September, 'cause this train goes through the Konkan belt during daylight. And if you're into Alphonso mangoes and other tourist spots in Konkan, travel in April or May, bro. WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAIN?: This is for those peeps who are on vacation and have a ton of time to kill on the train. But if you're in a rush or a frequent traveler, I'd say skip this train, man. It's always late by like 1.5-3 hours at its destination. And during Ganpati, Diwali, or April-May seasons, it's mad crowded. IN WHICH COACH TO BOOK TICKETS?: Okay, so the coaches on this train are kinda old and a bit dirty because they switch it up from the KonkanKanya to the Mandovi, but they do clean it, bro. If you wanna have a window, book an AC Lower or Side Lower berth. Or you can snag a 2S window seat and avoid the SL coach 'cause you won't get any sleep during the day anyways. The SL coaches are used as 2S, where they put 4 passengers in one lower berth and the upper berths are either empty or used by waitlisted passengers. Oh, and between Mangaon and Khed, this train goes at high speed, like above 100 km/hr, and the coaches tend to shake a lot. But who cares, the train's always late anyways.
