Deattachment cant be done at barsoi , if such a train is introduced deattachment will take place at Katihar.
No. Another line splits from KIR to eklakhi jn. where the line to balurghat goes. You can try that route with Reversal @ Eklakhi Jn.
I think detachment at Katihar will be better. Slip Rake can run via Harishchandrapur to Eklakhi and then undergo LR and proceed to Balurghat.
