The sustained pressure from the Bengaluru Railway Division and the barrage of criticism up to the Railway Minister about its late running from passengers, has now made the Hubli-headquartered South Western Railway Zone create a new train to substitute the KSR Bengaluru-Chennai Mail. It began its run from Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna railway station after midnight of 3 January.

If KK had RSA with any other train going to North Karnataka districts, SWR would not have even bothered to arrange the rake. Since Mail is the old and legendry train SWR is arranging the spare rake.
A spare rake has been arranged finally after protests,tweets and what not. Its better late(too late though) than never. :P
Yesterday's departure wasnt delayed. Finally, a respite for the passengers with the spare rake back again. Happy to see my sleep killer back to form. :)
Nothing like that Dinesh..In fact, north Karnataka trains would have got the rakes much earlier.
