Savaari_gaadi~ 1919 blog postsAre there any Mumbai to North East passengers in IRI? I would like to know do you all really prefer train to travel from Mumbai to North East? As there is not even a single daily train to GHY from Mumbai but now even south indian cities like bengaluru, TVC etc. gets direct train to SCL, AGTL etc. There's not even a single train from Mumbai beyond GHY.

Even in off season like this, 15645 has 500+ WL in SL and 85+ WL in 3ac for 6th Jan run.. Amazing rush..
One heck of WL. But why no trains at all. Big loop hole. Most of traveller would have to travel to Kolkata first and then to mumbai
Not only towards north east even locations of Bihar and west bengal after Patna lacks connectivity from Mumbai. I think if new train can't be introduced then they can atleast do the following:-
1. All train should have a minimum distance restriction for reserved classes like in Karnataka & Telangana Express.
2. 15645,15647 & 12515 should have a technical halts between MGS and PNBE (much better if they reduce halts and convert 15645 & 15647 into SF) so that Mumbai to Patna pax should not board this train.

Non stop flights are also very few from Mumbai to Guwahati. Most of them have layover at Kolkata or they have to change the plane at Kolkata or Delhi.
