as there r much complaints lodge by passengers for poor quality of catering provided to them in country's Rajdhani, shatabdi, Duronto.type trains.. as catering charge r leived with tkt fare.itself.
(optional in Raj and Duronto).

Third option is ridiculous, If IR cannot guarantee supply of hygenic food in premium trains, and ask paxs to pay for whatever food they supply without any complaint, then safety & life of paxs cannot be entrusted to IR. Let other responsible organisations operate & manage the railway operation in India.
The best option with IR is to make catering optional, but consumer's right to complain about the poor food supply cannot be forfeited.
