Uppala substation is completed and Electricity start flowing
to traction substation from today .but Konkan trains will not get e loco from Mangalore Junction.

After the TSS work at Tirur gets complete will the trains like Rajdhani express and all other trains which run within Kerala and goes to Mangalore/Konkan get Eloco up to MAJN. As we know that Konkan is a diesel line.
Just waiting for CRS of Erode-Trichy Electrification and simulataneously the completion of Tirur TSS. Then soon CHENNAI EGMORE mail will also get Eloco. We could also expect RPM WAP 7
Tirur substation necessary when memu starts.mangalore junction do have facility of loco change.so the konkan trains will run in diseal.railway have enough Electricity to run upto Mangalore.when memu start in Kannur Kozhikode shornur sector need more electricity so tirur traction necessary.
