The JHANSI-KHAJURAHO section is not electrified till date. Because of this the traon on this section Jhansi to Khajuraho requires a Diesel WDM engine attached /detached at Jhansi on both direction. The distance between Jhansi and Khajoraho is about 201 kms. If this Jhansi khajurako section is electrified then a single electric WAP 4/7 can pull the train upto Khajuraho/delhi on both direction thereby reducing the travelling time and saving OIL. Railways must consider this suggestion in the forth coming budget of 2018.
Jhansi Mahoba electrification is on full monty....Mahoba-Khajuraho is only ~53 Km. The Loco change and attachment and detachment from its main train (Manikpur portion) happen at Mahoba Jn not in Jhansi....Thanks!!
