1 saal me poora kiya ja sakta hai ye chota sa GC koi badi baat nahi hai...
Complete it fast so that engine reversal can stop at Ujjain....
I would be very happy if this happens in 1 year. See, the issue is, even after GC in newly converted sections, the level of services is nowhere near the MG era. For eg. Prior to GC, between MHOW-INDM-FTD-RTM, there were more than 8-10 pairs of trains per day in UP+Down direction. Today we have like 4 DEMUs. Between FTD-UJN, this was the last status - First train from UJN towards FTD at 6.10 AM, second at 11-11.15 AM, third at 2 PM, fourth at 5 PM, and the last 6th at 7.40 PM. Can we expect more than 2 pairs between UJN-FTD per day even after 2 years from GC completion - as the WR will blame lack of traffic on this rural route. The reality is, this project is so late that up-downers between UJN - FTD have forgot that there used to be reliable train services in this...

Mere khyal se FTD- UJN GC ker diya jaye to INDB-UJN doubling ki koi jarurat nahi...isse kuch train jarur DEWAS bypass karegi magar DEWAS koi itni badi city bhi nahi ki use Indore se chalne wali sabhi trains cover karen...Indore- Rau tak to doubling pahele se hi hai...
Kisi ne ek bahut accurate scenario (Kisi aur blog entry me) bataya tha. UJN-FTD GC bilkul hona chaiye. Proposed routes post GC:
1. For Mumbai / Pune / Delhi / Ahmedabad bound rajdhani/Duronto type trains - Use INDB - FTD - RTM (For eg. INDB-MMCT Duronto)
2. For Mumbai / Pune / Delhi / Ahmedabad bound non-premium trains - Use INDB - DWX - UJN - RTM (For eg. Avantika, Intercity) i.e. maintain the current route
