This is a long time demand from the people of Jangipur constituency to introduce an express train from JRLE especially in the morning time. The reason for introducing this express train in the morning time from Jangipur Road station, as lots of people daily traveling to Kolkata due to their official/personal/medical check-up related work. Apart from that those who work in this area, but hometown is near Kolkata, for them, this train will also help. There is two thermal Power Project, two cement factory (Birla Sonar Bangla Cement, Ambuja Cement), one central university (Aligarh Muslim University Murshidabad), one top rank Management college (MDI Murshidabad), one Central Food park (Bengal Mega Food Park) situated in Jangipur Constituency. Students, working person, labor people from Jangipur constituency will also get benefited once this express train will introduce.
