i booked one ticket from new delhi to jaipur pnr 2217858966 journey dated 17.03.11 by paying fare of rs 1860 th irctc website. on journey day the train was cancelled. i filed online tdr for the refund of fare on 22.03.2011. on 13.09.2011 i got refund of rs. 920/- please let me know whether railways is fare in deductiong fare even in case of cancelled trains. please let me know to whom should i approach for getting the balance refund as the irctc has sent many reminders for the refund of balance fare to acm claims, jaipur

Similar case happened with me. I got 50% of refund within 3 days and remaining 50% after 2 years or so that too after many follow up with irctc where in they forwared request to concnered railway zone.
