The charges for the AC Lounge (meant for AC passengers only) have been increased. The new rates are Rs 50 for 2 hours. Another Rs 40 for an additional two hours and a further Rs 40 for another addition of two hours.
The new platform # 4 looks good and there is a straight entry for pedestrians on to the platform from the city side road which makes it convenient. However, I was told that this new platform is not yet being used for passenger trains.
