6 years ago,when I boarded this train(that time it was 5622 Super Exp),it departed at 6.45 from NDLS & reached Aligarh at 8.24.Just 1 Hr 39 mts from Delhi to Aligarh(126 km).
Now this has become Superfast North East Exp(12506),traversing only 119 km from Anand Vihar to Aligarh,but taking 2 Hrs 3 mts.
Has the Indian Railways Condition deteriorated over time?

->There is no increase in stops,previously also it used to start from NDLS & the next stop was ALJN
->I agree that trains have increased compared to what it was 6 years ago,but in that time there is not much disturbance.Previously, also it used to run behind Neelachal Exp(NDLS 06.30),now also.Even now it has become more secured,as Lucknow Swarn Shatabdi leaves from NDLS at 06.15,followed by Neelachal,followed by N E Exp.As Shatabdi always sticks to time,it easier for them to run the subsequent trains also at time.
