Even not getting SMS after clicking so many times on IRCTC booking page. What a shame of the system. Fares/Charges even cancellation Charges hiked; premium rates introduced.... but all of "0" use.
SMS feature of IRCTC doesn't work most of the times.I am talking what I experience. It may vary to others maybe.But 1 thing I have noticed whether if the tickets are booked PRS or from IRCTC and if they are RAC/WL or 1A tickets a SMS will be received on the Mobile Phone number given while booking with all the final charting status.Even IR is sending frequent SMS regarding delayed trains.
Dial 139 or go to station, for getting status , thats the only way as now
Gone to station. Finally got to know confirmed status with coach & seat details in the CHART at display board.
