During peak hours ,24 car ( double 12 car ) fast passenger services have to be operated in the fast line from Arakkonam <> Chennai Central , Arakkonam - Beach - Eggmore - Tambaram New Terminal - Chengalpattu , Arakkonam - Perambur - Ennore - Gummidipoondi - Gudur ,Arakkonam - Beach - Velacherry sectors.
These fast passengers are very much useful for connecting the major Terminals in Chennai Metro and
the International Airport .
