Longest tunnel in south India (7.5km) constructed near Rapur for Obulavaripalle - Krishnapatnam railway line.
Rapur will be junction if Nadikudi- Srikalahasti railway line completes.

Oh tunneling work finished now. Great to see this kind of tunnels , they will have more MPs compare to ghat sections. So now kadapa-GTL to connect with GDR line with possible short cut
Any idea if this line has passenger stations or just will be used for freights to Krishnapatnam port ?
tHIS LINE connects Nadikudi - Kalhasthi also. So surely it will have passenger trains. Mostly used for fright may be.
As of now no connection with Gudur line , hope SCR creates a branch towards Vijayawada which helps passenger traffic too. As per google map total route earthing work completed.

But wasn't there a discussion here about this line getting connected to Gudur-Vijayawada line? Any idea about it?
