Will Miss Rai Mahimapat Sir(DC Bokaro) a lot! Whatever new development you have seen in Bokaro is cause of his efforts. I doubt whether the headquarter will ever get any similar official like him. He is the only of his kind in this part of Jharkhand. Wishing him all the best for his future!

Agreed 100%. He has been the best DC who has served Bokaro and worked for people, a very dynamic person active on social media as well. His transfer to capital is the proof that Ranchi has been given the best man in the entire state. The newbie coming from Khunti joining his first ever DC post in Bokaro is no match for Mr. Ray.

I hav heard about most of the IAS from Jharkhand since my father works in secretariat but never heard about Rai sir. But yesterday when I saw the transfer orders, was amazed to see Rai mahimapat as DC of Ranchi. Then my father said that he is one of the few very good IAS jharkhand possesses and has served in Chief Secretary cell too. Hope Ranchi is benefitted by his posting as DC.
