MY RESERVATION IS FROM ERNAKULAM NORTH TO THANE, IF I WANT TO BOARD THE TRAIN FROM THRISSUR PLEASE INFORM ME IF ANY OBJECTION WILL BE TAKEN BY TTE
You have to change your boarding point as Thrissur from any near by railway counter, After boarding change TTE have no any objection.

Problem sir, there lies a stoppage in between ERS & TCR.
Its quite risky, as TTE can transfer ur ticket to uncleared RAC/WL Ticket holder.
I once boarded in Gyan Ganga from Pune to BSB, with unreserved ticket in 3A.
TTE awaied till Ahmednagar for the vacant berth (reserved from Pune), before alloting me. But i am sure, ifhe would had any RAC/WL uncleared,...

I think rule is "You have to reach your sat before next stoppage". May be i am wrong. Explain our valuable bloggers

Rule has been 10 mins b4 departure, u have to capture ur berth (read from other blogers), but hardly followed.
Its custom, that TTE awaits & double sure himself b4 berth transfer, as he too dont wanna gripped into any mishandling quote,
But being passenger, with our berth/comfort/money @ stake, we dont have priviledge to take things for granted!!!
