मिशन रफ्तार के तहत दिल्ली-हावड़ा, हावड़ा-चेन्नई, चेन्नई-मुंबई, दिल्ली-मुंबई, दिल्ली-चेन्नई व हावड़ा-मुंबई रूटों पर ट्रेनों की स्पीड बढ़ाई जाएगी।
Practically only Delhi-HWH & DeEL-MUM and to some extent Delhi-Chennai routes had been considered in past for speed upgradation where speeds had been increased to 130 kmph. Mum-HWH, Mum-Chennai & HWH-Chennai routes permit just 110kmph, like many other non GQ routes. Allocation of 18000 crores to increase the speed of first 2 routes clearly indicates that other routes are at the back burner.
