The irctc canteen is situated on 2nd floor of mainline building which provides veg thaali at rs 35 only. Seating arrangement are there. Consists of 6 puri/2 paratha, rice, daal, 2 sabzi, pickle, curd. Taste is OK for the price and quantity is such that one person can eat his food satisfactorily. Hygiene is also good. The server has his head and hands covered. This is self service type arrangement. Take the coupon and go to the window and take you thali to the tables.
Apart from IRCTC canteen, there is Neelam on ground floor which serves thali in range of 150-250. Ofcourse taste is different from irctc but if you want to hav economical food then IRCTC is better. In IRCTC Janta Khana is also available consisting of 7 puri/sabzi/pickle.
