NZM-NGP is 1086 km which will require a train with avg speed of 136kmph to cover the distance in 8 hrs which is possible if NZM-NGP is fit for 180-200 kmph
what about rest of the section??
i believe it is 120 fit (for raj category trains) atleast upto BPQ.

* That is why train have to be fast enough (about 200 kmph) in the rest of the sections to give an avg speed of 136kmph.
* Use of tilting trains is helpful in increasing the speed over the ghat section.
* If IR really want to operate trains at 160kmph+ and attain an avg speed of 120 kmph+, it will have to embark upon a long term plan to improve the track layout throughout its BG network by straightening the curves at several locations.
