anu13d~ 209 blog postsI just want to know... why this train is still running with diesel loco. The entire stretch is 710 Km long and every time it gets a diesel loco.
This train should be regularized as a daily express train with an updated loco link such as WAP-4 /WAP-5 / WAP-7...!!
Even if this train runs as a Holiday Special... any E-Loco [WAG - WAP] can be used for this train

I don't think ye sahi decision hoga... Bcoz fir is train ka route kuch zayada hi time consuming ho jaayega..!! Bcoz as compared to Panipat-Ambala route, Meerut-Tapri route is already time consuming.. upar se via Amritsar kar diya is train ko to bohot hi lamba route ho jaayega upar se loco link bhi upgrade ni ho paayega as ASR-PTK section is single diesel section.. Abhi electrification ka kaam chal raha h is section mein.!! So overall its not a valid decision..!!
