can this train be extended to mysore because there are so many people travelling to mysore and the train always reaches late to sbc and its difficult to catch the linking trains to MYS

this train generally lies idle at SBC. Extending to mysore must not be a problem but track constrains exist. Probably thought can be given after doubling by RM.

The line between SBC-MYS is 110% ulitized according to Railway officals. So eventhough there is demand for extention of a couple of trains like this one and Hampi express to boost tourism by providing direct connectivity between the most popular tourist destinations in karnataka the railway officals say that it can be only possible after completion of ongoing doubling work. In fact there is a proposal of providing one train every 30min between the cities all through the day. if it is implemented then we can see many trains getting extended to mysore specially trains like 2785 whose rakes are not maintained at SBC and lay ideal for the whole day
