U guys have missed what I gave as a Hint. The 19023/24 MMCT-FZR Janata Express earlier used to run till Lahore via Kasur-Raiwind.
Route was MMCT-ST-BRC-RTM-KOTA-MTJ-DLI-ROK-JHL-BTI-KKP-FZR-K SUR-RAIWD-LHR, with extra coaches added at DLI. The Whole train was Punjab-Janta Express. & what proof are u giving. The Punjab-Janta Express was discontinued after 1937. It ran from 1912-1937 period. After Independence the train was revived as 19023/24 MMCT-FZR Express

Janta express trains were introduced after independence. There were no Janta express trains before independence.
And regarding the 'proof' I provided, You mentioned a 'pre-independence' train and I provided a 'pre-independence' timetable. I guess there is no need to dismiss it as irrelevant.
There was a 'Delhi' express that ran from Colaba terminus to Delhi (Short terminated at BCT from 1930), which started in 1911. You can this in the timetable from 1937 - click here . At the time, the Frontier...

Didn't Calcutta Peshawar Punjab mail have through coaches from Delhi? Were you mentioning the mail before Delhi and Calcutta were connected?
I was talking about the 'Punjab express', which is the precursor of the present day Doon express between Howrah and Dehradun. Earlier it was going till Lahore via the LKO-MB-ASR route, with through coaches to Dehradun. This was the only train with the name 'Punjab express'. This was a different train from the Calcutta Punjab mail.
The 'Punjab mail' is actually a very confusing name. Pre-independence, most of the trains bound to Delhi and beyond from Calcutta and Bombay were referred to as Punjab mails.
