Why this short distance train has been provided with ultra modern LHB coaches while long distance trains like kanyakumari express and Nellai express are being run on old coaches ?

Rockfort needs 2 rakes and Pandian needs 2 rakes to run. Rather than keeping the Rockfort rake idle at TPJ for the whole day, it is sent to MS as Cholan. At the same time, rather than keeping the rake of Pandian idle at MS, it is sent to TPJ as the other Cholan. By this method, no extra rake is required to run this train
