I didnt mean every passing train. I mean only those trains that arrive during peak hours. YPR PPTA and Bagmati undergo reversal at MAS. They do not arrive at peak hours. MAS is highly choked from 4AM to 8AM and 7PM to 11 PM And terminating trains dont mean they are high profile. They get more preference than weeklies. And PER is not outside the city. Only trains in one slot have been diverted. There are still 12 pairs of weeklies,dailies and biweeklies that touch MAS. PER is easily accessible from other parts of Chennai.
