Very poor train. Coaches are very old with no maintenance. AC coaches do not have power points and toilets remain dirty & choked. I am pissed off with its service. There are only two daily trains to Delhi from Rae Bareli and both trains run late by average of 2.5 to 3 hours. This train is made to stop for longer time at different stations between Pratapgarh and Lucknow to let cross other trains on single line. There starts its late running programme and then it never covers up the delay as it gets least preference post Lucknow to Delhi. IR should rename this train as Late-aavat Express instead of Padmavat express. IR need to run more trains on this route specially one train exclusively between RBL and NDLS. This route has been neglected by IR for years despite it being having LS constituencies of Rahul Gandhi & Sonia Gandhi.

They use this train to let other trains pass on the single track between Pratapgarh and Lucknow, which causes even more delays. It's like they've made it their mission to always be late. And once it gets past Lucknow, forget about it, it's given the lowest priority and never catches up on lost time. Indian Railways needs to change the name of this train to the "Late-aavat Express" instead of Padmavat Express. They should also add more trains on this route, especially one exclusively between Rae Bareli and New Delhi. This route has been ignored by Indian Railways for years, even though it's the constituency of Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.
