Recently i travelled in 16723 Anantapuri express from Tambaram to Madurai
the TTE asked for my proof , i showed him the Digital Aadhar - downloaded (can be opened after entering a password)
once the details were opened, i showed him the same
TTE replied that he has not received any such orders from his office about passengers carrying their digital aadhar for verification...

so as an alternate , i showed my original Driving License which was accepted as a proof
in android phones , m-aadhar app can be used , in my case it is an Iphone and so a downloaded form of Aadhar is what i have

carrying along a original proof is not a heavy task , but with the outcome of digital platforms and official announcements regarding the same
why are the TTE's not following up the latest updates for passenger's identity proof (here it is the digital aadhar)'
i faced the same issue on my return journey also [it was in 12638 Pandian Express]
