We don’t mind vskp being merged into SCR but SCR won’t take any additional kms they are already second biggest zone in the country if you take rkms.
Even guntakal being headquarters is also ok but railways don’t want to have zone headquarters so close to each other.
It’s not my login gtl to ubl is way too close.

Ok, quite useful information thanks for same; but why the need of concentrating everything around Visakhapatnam only ? It's already economically quite well. Why can't HQ of the proposed Zone be at say Guntakal, Anantpur or Tirupati ?
Being near a Zonal Headquarter of other Zone isn't helping Guntakal at all.
