Fifteen-car services on the slow corridor will soon become a reality as Western Railway has floated tenders to appoint a contractor to extend length of platforms...
* Segregation of Long distance trains after completion of 5th & 6th lines (till Virar) on Western and till Kalyan on Central Rly shall be a red letter day in the history of Mumbai Suburban Railways.
* Further completion of 3rd and 4th lines till DahanuRd on Western and Kasara/ Khopoli in long run shall give a big relief to commuters as well as the Rly authorities. Several minutes shall be saved by long distance as well as the suburban trains on these sections.
