SBCKLBGVandeSadharana~ 10895 blog postsWhat is the need to make Kongu overtake Hampi at DMM, Hampi arrived 10mins before time at DMM, made to halt for 1hr 35mins. Kongu arrived after 1hr of Hampi reaching DMM, made to depart before Hampi. Then Hampi was made to cover DMM-ATP in 1hr. Atlast reached Ballari 1hr late. This is the daily scene between Dharmavaram-Ballari for Hampi Exp, never reaches BAY on time even with huge slack though its the only daily express from Bengaluru to Ballari, Hosapete.

Hampi Express will surely loose it's charm if this continues.... I instead ask SWR to convert it to Superfast express so that it reaches UBL at 09:00. There will be many takes for this train from BAY also upto UBL
Yes, one of our IRI friend raised this matter in Twitter & he got blocked by the DRM UBL:/blog/post/2789704 , though that request was for punctuality between HPT-UBL!!!
It's almost same situation every day for 16592hampi exp at dmm .It'll dep 1hr to 1.5 hours late ..Xing has to take place at dmm for hampi 16591 even for sur - sbc sf few other weekly trains ..till ynk - dmm - gtl line gets double.this will be continue ..
That's the reason 16591 gets good priority from DMM to YNK... because 12785 (SBC SF) trails behind Hampi from DMM till YNK.. almost everyday
Is SCR wantedly targeting Hampi ?? There is absolutely no need for such unscheduled overtakes in that congested single line.
