If you are very hungry in the morning and cannot wait till reaching Mangaluru at 905am, then Kannur station is the place for you around 6am. There are a number of boys on the platform selling Coffee (Rs 10) and medu wada (Rs 20 for 2). On 16th March in the morning, I noticed there was no breakfast available on the train between Kannur and Mangaluru (although Coffee was being sold)
