I requested our PM,FM,RM and RB that the essentially needy States have to be sanctioned Indian Railway Zonal Hqs and Divisional Hqs.
I am herewith submitting that the present Indian Railway Zonal offices Headquarters and Divisional railway headquarters situated as per the State wise .
Some states are having more numbers of Zonal Headquarters and Divisional headquarters against their Route km of the Railway lines possessed in the state.

Our Railway Zonal Headquarters and divisional Headquarters have to be sanctioned or shifted to the needy States / UT.
Requested that the Zonal Headquarters and Divisional headquarters have to be reorganized/formed based on the Railway lines in the State ,Export & Import potential of Goods through the Ports of the State and regular Passenger and Tourist potential of the States.Moreover the most of the Railway lines and stations have to be accommodated in the State Divisional Headquarters with some exemption.
Example. 1)Only one ,Kuppam railway station of Andhra Pradesh comes in the route of Jolarpettai ( Tamilnadu ) to Bangarapettai ( Karnataka state ) .This may be accommodated either in Tamilnadu based Division or Karnataka based division.
Some example. 2) Telengana has 1737 Route km length of Railway line. Andhra Pradesh has 3703 km.
But Telengana benefitted by SCR - Zonal Hqs with 2 divisional Hqs such as Secundrabad and Hyderabad.
But Andhra Pradesh state has NIL Zonal Hqs and 4 divisional Hqs.
So as per the reorganization committee of the Undivided AP,Andhra Pradesh has to be sanctioned with one Zonal Hqs at Visakhapatnam.
Moreover ,i suggested that the undermentioned Major States have to be sanctioned / shifted the existing Zonal hqs offices.
IR Zonal Hqs needed States.
1) Andhra Pradesh 2) Gujarat ,3 ) Kerala,4) Jharkhand,5)Haryana 6)Punjab
7) Combined Zonal Hqs for Himachal Pradesh,J&K and Uttarkhand.
8) Combined Zonal Hqs for the North Eastern States excluding Assam state which has NFR,Zonal Hqs at GUWAHATI and 3 divisional Hqs.
Additional Divisional Hqs needed States :
1) Tamilnadu - Thoothukkudi ( Based on Major Port )
2) Kerala - Kochi ( Based on Major Port )
3) Karnataka - Mangaluru ( Based on Major Port )
4 ) Goa - Vascodagama. ( Port and Tourist potential)
5)Haryana - Rewari or Hissar.( Southern Haryana )
6)Punjab - Amritsar ( Tourist Poteltial )
7)Uttarkhand - Dehradun
8)Himachal Pradesh - Shimla
9)Tirupura - Agarthala
10) Orissa - Paradeep ( Based on Port )
+ some essentially needed cities etc.
Port based Divisional offices enhances our Export & Import otential by providing rakes in time and sufficiently.
Moreover our Indian Railway has to be sanctioned additional Divisional Hqs for the essentially needed cities of State / UT.

The State / UT wise railway line distances (as on31.03.2016 )are based on MoS statement enclosed.
I once again requested that the Zonal Names and Hqs and divisional Hqs have to be reorganized / additional formation based on the present system of regional wise . Otherwise ,our Odissa CM Hon.Navin Patnaik who insisted to reorganized the Indian Railway Zones based on major States named railway Zones.
Such as Reorganized as ODISSA RAILWAY ZONE ( ODR ),TAMILNADU RAILWAY ZONE ( TNR ),KERALA RAILWAY ZONE ( KER ),KARNATAKA RAILWAY ZONE ( KAR ),ANDHRA PRADESH RAILWAY ZONE ( APR),TELENGANA RAILWAY ZONE ( TER ),MAHARASHTRA RAILWAY ZONE ( MHR ) ,
MADHYAPRADESH RAILWAY ZONE ( MPR ).Etc. Similarly major States have to be renamed the existing zones in their state. For smaller state Divisional Name has to be formed with State name.Example.GOA division ,Tirupura Division etc. I requested that the reorganization committee has to be formed with railway board members ,finance ministry members,Tourism ministry ,Port Ministry and all the State / UT Chief Minister s .Reorganized IR effected with in 6 month period positively.
