To satisfy the growing demand in the Chennai-Salem-Coimbatore sector, adding a Full AC Tri-Weekly Express from Chengalpattu via Tambaram, Chennai Egmore till Coimbatore. This would cater the passengers from South Chennai area, Mahindra City area to reach Salem, Erode and Coimbatore with ease. Stoppage at Perambur is provided as an alternate to Chennai Central.

Yes Bro.. Good suggestion. I too thought about it.
But this one has to stop at 3 stations around Chennai already.
TBM, MS, PER (For MAS tkts Boarding) and each are over 5 mins, so only opted out Mambalam.
Also it would be transiting TBM to MS during prime hours, so not sure if it is possible to make a stop in between.
