Finally the long time wait comes to an end. Gulbarga is now thrown open to trains hauled by Electric Locos with effect of successful completion of Gulbarga — Wadi Electrification. 11307 Gulbarga — Hyderabad Intercity Express is the first train to get Electric Loco from LGD Shed.

End of Diesel Era but irony is that still they dont want to speed up this train. Easily can be speeded up by 1 hr to 90 mins, make it aggressive with LGD WAP7 with stop at Sedam
