Good news for railfans of sahibganj loop:
1.)Electrification work just after passing of budget in feburary till pirpaithi,within few months the work has come till nathnager outer the work of digging holes and cementing has been completed till nathnager outer,so electrification dosen't seem too far from bhagalpur now,poles are not set,but there are no holes and poles from jmp outer to tunnel but just after tunnel till just before ratanpur station poles has been set.
by 2019 it is certain electrification will be completed till bhagalpur.

RObridge just outside jamalpur station going at very slow pace,what i saw back in January seems nothing changed till now.
3.)Within a few months between line to bhagalpur and y line the soil was level-led then 3 tracks were laid there were now goods trains unload.
4.)Tunnel approach road track has also been laid till very close to spot where the tunnel will be made tunnel is made on right side,when we go from jmp to bgp.
5.)Biggest development in respect of electrification between jamalpur and kiul is that poles has has been fixed now and substation are 75% ready with structure completed only transformer and wires are pending,ohe work has not begun at any place yet.
6.)One rack of 22 coaches 2017 made other than 8 lhb spare coaches is ready placed in bhagalpur yard,maybe soon 12335 may be lhbfied.
7.)For completing of doubling between bhagalpur and kahalgaon efforts are being made at bhagalpur station new sleepers has been laid after creating space and over bholanathpul small bridge is made between previous 2 bridge.
